I teach Savate, Boxe-Francaise. Otherwise described as French boxing or French kickboxing.

Savate is the art of fencing with the feet. Using shoes, the kicks are long and elegant; the fights are fast and furious. The punches borrow from English boxing. The result is a graceful yet effective ring fighting sport. Savate dates from around 1830 making it older than many other kickboxing arts.

A beginner learns how to punch and kick, get fitter and more flexible. An intermediate fighter learns about tactics and strategy, the art of mastering bodily techniques and exhibiting control. An advanced fighter learns how to deal with the exigencies of other people, ringcraft and the psychology of competition.

This is my Savate club site and below is the Facebook feed.
